Adult Application Checklist
To complete the application process, applicants must submit the following to the Office of Admissions:
Adult Freshman and Transfer Students
- Bachelor’s Degree; Second Bachelor’s Degree; Associate’s Degree; Certificate Program
- Online Adult Freshman or Transfer Application (choose Adult Transfer Application if you have taken any college courses since graduating from high school)
- A personal statement detailing how enrolling will contribute to your educational goals
- If under 15 undergraduate credits have been completed, submit an official high school transcript or Graduate Equivalency Diploma, scores, and SAT/ACT scores
- Official transcripts from any college or university attended (if applicable), whether or not credits were earned
In addition, Permanent U.S. Residents must submit:
- Copy of current Permanent Residency Card
- Official TOEFL scores or Proof of English Proficiency
- Official transcripts with WES translation
- Certificate of Financial Resources
Non-Degree-Seeking Students
- Visiting Students
- Online Non-Degree-Seeking Application
- Written approval from the Dean or other authorized administrator of the home college for all courses to be taken at The University of Scranton
- Self-Improvement (Personal); Audit
- Online Non-Degree-Seeking Application
- A personal statement detailing how enrolling will contribute to your educational goals
- Official transcript from the last post-secondary institution attended or degree-granting institution (If none, submit high school transcript.)
- Self-Improvement (Graduate School Prerequisites)
- Online Non-Degree-Seeking Application
- A personal statement detailing how enrolling will contribute to your educational goals
- Official transcripts from ALL post-secondary institutions attended
- Listing of prerequisite courses required for entry into the intended graduate program (The institution’s web site listing will be acceptable.)
