What is Accepted Students Day?

It's a day all about you and your new home at Scranton. Exclusively for accepted students and their families, we guarantee that this event will get you excited about life as a Royal in the Class of 2029!

What can I do during the day?

We have scheduled events throughout the day, including:

• 9:00-9:45 a.m. – President’s Welcome
• 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. – Meet with Admissions
• 10:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m. – Campus Tours (Departing every 10 minutes)
• 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. – Department and Faculty Visits
• 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. – “The Student Experience” Presentations
• 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. – Residence Hall Tours

In addition, you can enjoy:

• Brunch from 9:45 a.m.-12:00 p.m. in the 3rd Floor DeNaples Center
• Lunch from 11:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m. in the Byron Recreation Complex

There’s also time for you to explore campus on your own. You’ll have the opportunity to:

• Discover your new favorite place on campus to hang out with friends and enjoy a coffee break.
• Sample our award-winning food at our Fresh Food Company on the third floor of the DeNaples Center during brunch.
• Learn about how to join one or more of our 100+ clubs and organizations by chatting with student leaders.

 You can also schedule a 15-minute meeting with one of our Financial Aid representatives. Please note: Appointments are limited to 15 minutes per family.

We’ve designed this event to let you explore Scranton from a whole new perspective. You can’t fall in love with Scranton until you visit!
