An internationally recognized expert on behavior change and Pennsylvania Professor of the Year, Dr. Norcross is just one of Scranton’s many accomplished faculty who advance their fields and teach on the leading edge. He is the acclaimed author of more than 300 professional publications and 22 books, including his latest work “Changeology.”

In addition to his position as Distinguished Professor of Psychology at The University of Scranton, Dr. Norcross is a board-certified clinical psychologist in part-time practice, and adjunct professor of psychiatry at SUNY Upstate Medical University.

Dr. Norcross is past-president of the American Psychological Association's Division of Psychotherapy and the Division of Clinical Psychology. He has served as an APA council representative and as a director of the National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology.
