About
Our Bachelor of Science in mathematics program equips students with a well-rounded skill set in both pure and applied mathematics. Students take a range of core and advanced courses to build strong foundations in both mathematics and science.

Curriculum
As a math major, you’ll build strong foundations with core classes in calculus, linear algebra and mathematical proofs. Students continue with advanced studies in pure mathematics (e.g., Real Analysis, Modern Algebra, Complex Variables) and applied mathematics (e.g., Numerical Analysis, Statistics, Differential Equations).

Get to know your fellow students by joining clubs and participating in campus activities. Exceptional students are invited to join our National Honor Society - Pi Mu Epsilon. Many math majors compete in events such as our Integration Bee, the Putnam Competition and the Garden State Undergraduate Mathematics Competition for fun!
