Saudi Students Enrolled in Canada

The University of Scranton is ready to support Saudi students who previously planned to study in Canada with finding a new place of study for the 2018-19 academic year.

Here are some of the key ways we can help:

  • You can arrive up to September 10, 2018, two weeks after the normal start of classes on August 27, and we will offer academic support to help you catch up in classes.
  • Our Office of International Student and Scholar Services processes 1-20 forms as quickly as possible for you to obtain your visa. 
  • You receive personal service and attention throughout the application process, including quick turnaround on application reviews.
  • We will help you transfer as many undergraduate or graduate credits from your former institution as possible.
  • We have undergraduate and graduate housing available.
  • Our active University of Scranton Saudi Student Association will help you get settled.
  • Our newly established Alumni Club of Saudi Arabia will help you make connections during and after your studies.

    Step 2: Complete your PDF application. To access our undergraduate application, please click here. Once you have completed this  application, please send it as an email attachment to admissions@scranton.edu. Applications will be accepted until August 31, 2018.

    Step 3: Complete your application supplement. In addition to the pdf application above, you will need to complete this short supplement.

    Please note that the maximum amount of credits you are able to transfer in will depend upon the program of study you choose, as at least half of your major credits must be completed on campus at The University of Scranton. Additionally, at least 63 credits must be completed on campus at The University of Scranton in order to complete your degree program.

    For a program consisting of 39 credits or less, the maximum amount of credits that can be transferred in is 6. For a program consisting of more than 39 credits, the maximum amount of credits that can be transferred in is 9.
