Schedule a Visit

Students tell us time and again that their campus visit is the most important factor in deciding to attend Scranton. We hope you will come to campus to experience Scranton for yourself. If you are not currently able to visit campus, we have a number of virtual visit experiences available.

Campus visits will include the following:

Group Information Session: This brief presentation by an admissions counselor provides an overview of the University and the admissions process, with time for questions.

Campus Tour: This tour of campus, led by a student tour guide, will allow you to see the DeNaples Center, Loyola Science Center, Brennan Hall, Weinberg Memorial Library, fitness center and residence halls. Prospective students interested in Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Kinesiology will also be able to tour Leahy Hall. This tour will be limited in size.

Personal Appointment: This half-hour session with an admissions counselor is non-evaluative and is perfect for students and parents who may have questions about the University or want to discuss a specific situation with regard to admission. This gives us the opportunity to get to know you in a non-evaluative, in-person setting. Virtual personal appointments may be available upon request. Call 570-941-6654 for assistance.

Interviews: These are offered in January, February and March of a student's senior year, and are only for students who have applied and received notification requesting an interview. Interviews last approximately a half-hour and can be scheduled by following the directions outlined in the student's notification letter.

Faculty Meeting: Depending on the student’s academic interest, it may be possible to meet one-on-one with a faculty member. During this meeting, the faculty member would discuss the student’s intended program of study and answer any questions. This is available Monday through Friday and is based on faculty availability and the student’s visit schedule. Please call our Admissions Visitors’ Center at 570-941-6654 for assistance.

The campus is beautiful and after the tour, I loved it even more. The students were genuinely kind and welcoming. I am more than impressed with both the education and culture at The University of Scranton.
