Dual Enrollment
Dual Enrollment is part of a broader high school reform effort, called “Project 720,” that Governor Rendell initiated in 2005. Project 720, named for the number of days a student spends in high school from the beginning of 9th grade through the end of 12th grade, focuses on providing students with a more rigorous high school curriculum and enhancing their access to opportunities for postsecondary education.
The University of Scranton, through our High School Scholars Program, maintains Dual Enrollment Agreements with the following high schools:
Dunmore High School
Forest City High School
Lakeland High School
Mid Valley School District
Mountain View High School
Old Forge High School
Riverside High School
Valley View High School
Funding criteria is determined by the high school and can include full or partial coverage of the
tuition and fees for courses taken under Dual Enrollment.
