On choosing my major

"I started at Scranton as a Business Undecided student. Through meeting upperclassmen in the Accounting program, attending career fairs, and getting to know professors, I chose to be an Accounting major. It became clear that it was a path I had an interest in and the skill set for. Seeing what the program looked like for juniors and seniors and the opportunities they had really convinced me."

"I am interning at the Big 4 accounting firm EY this summer (2025) in Boston, and I'm hoping to continue there after graduation."

On getting involved at Scranton

"I'm involved in multiple extracurriculars at Scranton. I am the executive chair of Kania Women in Business, which is such a great group of women — I am honored to be a part of! I am also involved in Omega Beta Sigma, the Women's Business Honors Society and the Business Leadership Honors Program. These programs have given me opportunities to connect with alumni and volunteer within the community."

On choosing Scranton

"My hometown is only 20 minutes away from Scranton, and originally, I wanted to go somewhere further away. I have two older brothers who both went to school here, and after hearing about their experiences and visiting the campus for Accepted Students Day, Scranton became the obvious choice. One aspect that sold me on Scranton is the small class sizes and how invested the professors are in every student's success."

On my favorite Scranton memory

"My favorite Scranton memory is an activity I did with the Business Leadership Honors Program when we went to a retreat at Woodloch Pines. It was an opportunity to build friendships at Scranton, and we had so much fun competing in the 'Woodloch Olympics' together!"

One aspect that sold me on Scranton is the small class sizes and how invested the professors are in every student's success.
