With an average class size of 20 and a student-to-faculty ratio of 12:1, your professors get to know you and you get to know them.

Eighty-eight percent of faculty members hold doctoral degrees and 62% are tenured. Members of the faculty hold degrees from 289 different universities in 25 countries on five continents.

Our professors are outstanding educators. They stay well-informed through research and scholarship that advance their field and enhance the value of your Scranton education. Since 2005, our professors have authored 197 books, 1,746 articles and 552 book articles and chapters, and have made 3,501 presentations.
